The Hoxton Hotel, Lloyd Amsterdam

Housed in a building that was originally commissioned by the Royal Holland Lloyd Shipping Company in 1921, The Hoxton hotel in Lloyd Amsterdam has 136 bedrooms, a cocktail bar, a European brasserie, and an original Dutch windmill for a neighbour. The Hoxton Hotel has 14 locations around the world.
Hoxton Lloyd in Amsterdam situated at the ‘Oostelijke Handelskade’ asked Sasa to make an outdoor mural that will stay for a whole year. Sasa’s iconic drawing of two hugging beings symbolises kinship and invigorates a sense of love and connection for the neighbourhood.
